Dear God, I thank You for entrusting me with the lives of these precious children.

사랑하는 하나님이시여, 이 소중한 아이들의 생명을 저에게 맡겨주심을 감사합니다.

They all come from You and You have given me the opportunity to nurse and raise them as my children.

저 아이들은 모두 주님으로부터 나왔으며 주님께서 저에게 저들을 돌보고 자녀로서 키울 수 있는 기회를 주셨습니다.

Thank You for the wonderful blessing of having kids.

자녀를 허락하신 놀라운 축복에 감사드립니다.

Lord, I know that these children are Your children.

주님, 저는 이 아이들이 주님의 자녀라는 것을 압니다.

You have created them and want them to grow faithful to You.

주님은 저들을 창조하셨고 저들이 주님께 신실하기를 충실하기를 원합니다.

I pray that You work mightily upon their lives so that they will truly experience the joy of the spiritual connection that they have with You.

저들이 주님과 가진 영적 관계의 기쁨을 진정으로 경험할 수 있도록 주님께서 저들의 삶에 힘있게 역사하시길 기도합니다.

Help them to grow spiritually moment by moment.

저들이 순간순간 영적으로 잘 성장하도록 도와주시길 바랍니다.

I pray that each of them will have such a deep longing and desire to know You.

저들이 각자가 주님을 알고 싶어 하는 깊은 갈망과 소망을 갖기를 기도합니다.

I pray that they will hunger and thirst for more of You.

저들이 주님을 더 많이 갈망하고 목마르기를 기도드립니다.

I pray that they will learn to love Your word for that is where You reveal Yourself.

저들이 주님 자신을 드러내시기 위하여 주님의 말씀을 사랑하는 법을 배우기를 기도합니다.

I pray that they will cherish their relationships with You as they grow in faith.

저들이 신앙 안에서 자라면서 주님과의 관계를 소중히 여기기를 기도합니다.

Above all, I pray that these children will truly learn how to love You.

무엇보다 이 아이들이 진정으로 주님을 사랑하는 법을 배우기를 기도합니다.

I know that You are the One who will put this seed of love in their young hearts.

저는 주님께서 사랑의 씨앗을 그들의 어린 마음에 심어 두실 분임을 알고 있습니다.

I pray that though they are young, they will understand that they are loved by You and that they will love You back.

비록 저들이 어릴지라도 저들이 주님께 사랑받고 있다는 사실을 이해하고 주님을 다시 사랑하게 되기를 기도드립니다.

May this love You give them overflow so that they may share it with others as well.

주님께서 이 사랑을 넘치게 하셔서 저들이 다른 사람들과도 나눌 수 있기를 원합니다.

God, protect these children from all evil.

하나님이시여, 이 아이들을 모든 악으로부터 보호하여 주옵소서.

Do not allow them to be enticed by the devil’s lies.

저들이 악마의 거짓말에 유혹을 당하지 않게 하옵소서.

I completely entrust them to You.

저들을 온전히 주님께 맡깁니다.

I know that I could not cover them all the time but I declare that Your presence in their lives shall keep them safe.

저는 그들을 항상 막아 줄 수가 없다는 것을 알지만 저들의 삶에 주님의 임재가 저들을 안전하게 지켜 줄 것이라고 선포합니다.

I offer these children back to You.

저는 이 아이들을 주님께 돌려드립니다.

I hope that everyone of them will grow with a genuine fear of the Lord in their hearts. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

저들 모두가 마음속에 진정으로 주님을 경외하며 성장하기를 바랍니다. 예수님의 이름으로. 아멘.
