탕자가 아버지를 배신하고 먼 나라에 가서 허랑방탕하다가 회개하고 마침내 아버지 앞에 돌아왔을 때, 아버지는 그 아들을 용서해 줍니다.

When the prodigal son betrayed his father, went to a distant country, wandered, and repented, finally returned to his father, and the father forgave the son.

그리고 그 아들에게 아버지의 아들이라는 영광스러운 지위를 복권시켜 주신 것입니다. 그것은 하나님의 파격적인 사랑이요 하나님의 회복의 은총인 것입니다.

And father restored the glorious status of the father’s son. It is God’s radical love and the grace of God’s recovery.

그렇습니다. 주님은 우리의 죄를 용서하실 뿐만 아니라 우리를 회복시켜 주시고 이렇게 말씀하십니다. “너희 불법을 다시는 기억지 않을 것이다. 믿음으로 너는 의롭다 함을 얻었느니라.” “이제 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 자에게는 결코 정죄함이 없나니 이는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 너를 해방하였음이라”

Yes. Not only the Lord forgives our sins but restored us. He says, “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more. Their faith is credited as righteousness.” “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”

하나님의 자녀가 되는 합법적인 특권을 주셨습니다. 그렇습니다. 하나님이 우리의 죄를 용서하시고

He has given us the legal privilege to be children of God. Yes. Why should we be helpless and cringe if God has forgiven

우리를 하나님의 자녀의 영광스러운 지위로 회복시켜 주시는 하나님의 사랑이 있고, 우리가 하나님의 자녀로 주님 앞에서 새로운 삶을 시작했다면 우리가 왜 힘이 없고 왜 위축되어야 합니까?

our sins and restore us to the glorious status of God’s children, and we begin a new life before Him as children of God?

우리를 둘러싼 삶의 환경이 우리 마음대로 되지 않아도 우리는 기죽지 말고, 우리는 기뻐해야 하고 찬송해야 하고 감사해야 하고

Even if the environment around us is not at our disposal, we should be diligent, rejoice, be grateful,

이제는 다시 우리는 일어서야 하고 기죽지 말고 힘을 내고 살아야 할 충분한 이유가 있지 않습니까?

and now we have enough reason to stand up, be diligent, empowered and renewed again?

그렇습니다. 하나님께서는 너의 잘못, 너의 실수, 너의 불의, 너의 불법, 너의 죄악 나 여호와 하나님이 다 용서해 주었노니 너는 자유 하라.

Yes. God wants us to be free from our mistakes, faults, injustices, sins, and the Lord God has forgiven us.

과거에 대해서. 잘못에 대해서, 죄악에 대해서, 두려워하지 말아라 내가 용서해 주었노라, 그러니 꿈을 가지고 다시 일어나 시작해라.

I, the Lord God, have forgiven you, so be free. I have forgiven your past wrongs and sins, so wake up and begin a new with a dream.

기죽지 말고 힘을 내라, 내가 너를 다시 붙들어 주리라. 이 하나님의 용서에 대한 확신이 있으면

Do not be discouraged. Be strong, and I will hold you back. If we are convinced of God’s forgiveness,

기죽지 말고 힘을 내야 합니다. 어떤 환경 속에서도 기죽지 않고 힘을 내고 살아갈 가치가 충분히 있다고 생각합니다.

we must not be overwhelmed. No matter the situation, living with strength is always worthwhile.
