하나님은 말씀으로 천지만물을 창조하시고 사상과 생명과 능력을 나타냈습니다.

God created the whole universe through the Word, revealed His thoughts, His life, and His power.

그래서 구약시대에 가장 중요한 진리가 무엇입니까? “여호와께서 가라사대” 그리고 인간은

“아멘”으로 화답하는 것입니다.

What is the most important truth in the Old Testament? It is “Thus says the LORD,” and we, human beings, respond with “AMEN.”

“하나님께서 가라사대, 이르시되 빛이 있으라 하시매 빛이 있었고, 하나님이 그들에게 복을 주어 가라사대, 생육하고 번성하라 땅에 충만하라, 결과는 그대로 되니라.”

“And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light… And God blessed them.

And God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth,’ … And it was so.”

그렇습니다. 전능자 창조자 구속자이신 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “이것이다 저것이다 이렇게

살아라 저렇게 살아라.”

That’s right! When our God, who is the Almighty, the Creator, and the Redeemer, says, ‘This is it and that is it! Live like this and like that,’

말씀하시면 인간들은 그 말씀 앞에 “아멘” “무조건 아멘” 말로 응답하는 것입니다.

we, ought to respond by saying, “Amen,” “Amen no matter what.”

창조주 하나님과 피조물 사람과의 관계를 말로 대화로 했다는 것입니다.

There was the communication of words between God, the Creator, and us, His creations.

그리고 인간과 인간과의 관계를 말로 위로하고 격려하고 축복하게 했습니다.

And God ordained that human beings should encourage and bless each other through words.

아담이 하와를 향해서 “이는 내 뼈중의 뼈요, 살 중의 살”이라고 인간 최고의 사랑을 말로써 표현했습니다.

When Adam saw Eve for the first time, he expressed the superlative expression of his love, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.”

그렇습니다. 우리의 말 한마디로 행복과 불행이 결정됩니다. 우리의 말 한마디로 축복과 저주의 열매가 있습니다.

That’s right! Our words can determine our happiness or unhappiness. Our words can bear a fruits of blessings or curses.

그렇다고, 이야, 이제는 입 꼭 다물고 살아야 되겠다,

However, this does not necessarily mean that you have to keep your mouths shut at all times.

아닙니다. 우리는 입을 다물고 살도록 만들어진 인간이 아닙니다. 인간은 일정한 말을 하고 살아야 됩니다.

That is not how our God has designed us to be. Human beings need to express certain ideas and thoughts through words.
