받은 은혜 감사하라 Give Thanks for Grace 대상 1Ch. 29:10-13

“다윗이 온 회중 앞에서 여호와를 송축하여 이르되 우리 조상 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여 주는 영원부터 영원까지 송축을 받으시옵소서 여호와여 위대하심과 권능과 영광과 승리와 위엄이 다 주께 속하였사오니 천지에 있는 것이 다 주의 것이로소이다 여호와여 주권도 주께 속하였사오니 주는 높으사 만물의 머리이심이니이다 부와 귀가 주께로 말미암고 또 주는 만물의 주재가 되사 손에 권세와 능력이 있사오니 모든 사람을 크게 하심과 강하게 하심이 주의 손에 있나이다 우리 하나님이여 이제 우리가 주께 감사하오며 주의 영화로운 이름을 찬양하나이다”(역대상 29장 10-13절)

David praised the LORD in the presence of the whole assembly, saying, “Praise be to you, O LORD, God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.(1 Chronicles 29:10:13)

먼저 뜻 깊은 추수감사주일을 맞이해서 여러분의 심령과 가정과 직장과 사업과 일터 위에 하나님의 은혜가 풍성하시기를 주님의 이름으로 축원합니다.

This Thanksgiving I pray in the name of the Lord that He will pour out His abundant blessings on your souls, families, workplaces, and businesses.

추수감사절의 유래는 이렇습니다. The origin of Thanksgiving goes like this.

인류역사가 시작 되면서 가인은 땅에서 얻은 소산으로 하나님께 감사 제사를 드렸고, 아벨은 양의 첫 새끼로 하나님께 감사의 제사를 드리고 은혜와 축복을 받았습니다.

As the history of mankind first began, Cain brought fruit from the ground for his thanksgiving offering to the Lord. Abel, on the other hand, brought the firstborn of his flock for his thanksgiving offering. The Lord thereafter blessed Abel.

그리고 이스라엘 백성들이 출애굽해서 지키던 3대 절기 ‘유월절’ ‘칠칠절’ ‘초막절’이 있습니다.

After the Exodus, the people of Israel celebrated three major feasts. These included the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Firstfruits, and the Feast of Booths.

유월절은 애굽에서 출애굽 시켜 자유와 해방을 주신 하나님의 은혜에 감사하는 것이고, 칠칠절은 첫 열매에 대한 감사이고, 초막절은 들에서 모든 곡식을 거두어 들인 것의 감사이므로 지금의 추수감사절과 같은 것입니다.

During the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Israelites gave thanks to God for His redemptive acts. During the Feast of Firstfruits, the Israelites gave thanks to God for the firstfruits. During the Feast of Booths, the Israelites gave thanks to God for their annual harvest. So, the Feast of Booths was similar to modern-day Thanksgiving Day.

그렇습니다. 절기의 기본 정신은 하나님의 은혜에 대한 감사입니다. 하나님은 인간들에게 하나님을 잊지 말고 받은 은혜에 감사하면서 살 것을 명령 했습니다.

That’s right. The basic attitude towards this feast was gratitude for God’s grace. God commanded humans to never forget Him and to always live in gratitude for all that they have received.

왜냐하면, 그것은 인간을 사랑하시고 은혜와 복을 주시기 위해서 입니다.

God commanded this out of love so that He can pour out His blessings upon them.
