일찍이 예수님께서 “너희가 성경에서 영생을 얻는 줄 생각하고 성경을 상고하거니와 이 성경이 곧 내게 대하여 증거하는 것이로다.”
Jesus said early on, “You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me.”
그렇습니다. 구원의 문제; 영적 구원이든 생활 구원이든 이 구원의 문제는 성경 전체 창세기에서 계시록까지 페이지마다 챕터마다 집중적으로 나타나는 단일 주제입니다.
That’s right. The problem of salvation; whether it’s spiritual or about life, this problem of salvation is the single them that is intensively presented on a page-by-page basis, chapter-by-chapter basis, in the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
그러면서 성경은 이 구원을 받기 위해서는 인간이 부딪치고 있는 근본적인; 실존적인 죄의 문제를 해결해야 되는데 예수 그리스도의 십자가의 보혈로 이 죄의 문제를 해결할 수 있다고 성경은 말합니다.
The Bible says that humans need to solve this underlying problem of sin in order to be saved, but the only way solve this problem is through Jesus Christ’s blood on the cross.
그래서 우리는 고백하기를 “이 성경이 나를 구원했습니다. 이 성경이 나의 죄를 용서해 주었습니다. 내 인생의 문제를 해결해 주었습니다. 이 성경이 나를 행복하게 했습니다.”
So we confess, “This Bible has saved me. This Bible has forgiven my sins.
It solved the problem of my life. The Bible made me happy.”
그렇습니다. 성경은 생명 그 자체입니다. 성경이 없으면 절대로 해결할 수 없는 죄와 사망의 문제를 성경은 다 해결합니다.
Yes. The Bible is life itself. The Bible solves all the problems of sin and death.
그래서 하나님이 이루시는 수많은 축복들을 경험하는 성도들은 목이 터져라 외칩니다
So those believers who have experienced the many blessings of God shout out.
“내가 이 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이 복음은 모은 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의
능력이 됨이라.”
‘For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”
그러므로 우리는 성경을 열심히 읽고 설교를 열심히 들어야 합니다. 그럴 분 없겠습니다만
혹시라도 목사가 마음에 안든다고 해도 말씀을 거부하지 마세요.
Thus, we need to diligently read the Bible and listen to sermons. I am sure none of you would think this, but even if you don’t like the pastor, do not reject the Word.
