그런데 말씀이 들리지 않는다면 큰일 아닙니까?

Wouldn’t it be so dangerous and deadly if you can’t hear the Word of God all of a sudden?

건강한 사람 어떤 사람입니까? Who is considered as a healthy person?

입맛 좋은 사람이 건강한 사람입니다. 그런데 음식보면 냄새가 안 좋고 속이 거북하고 먹고 싶은

마음이 없는 사람 벌써 병든 사람입니다.

It is a person with a strong and healthy appetite. But, if someone feels nauseated and sickening whenever he is about to eat food, he is definitely sick.

건강 잃으면 첫번째 오는 싸인이 입맛이 없습니다.

The first symptom of losing your health is to lose your appetite.

입맛이 좋고 먹는대로 소화되는 사람은 건강한 사람입니다.

A healthy person is a person with a strong appetite and vigorous digestive systems.

그렇습니다. 하나님의 말씀을 들어야 구원과 축복이 있습니다. 그런 사람을 지혜자라고 합니다.

That’s right! When you listen to the Word of God, then there are salvation and blessings of God. Whoever has the Word of God is called wise.

반대로 우매자가 있습니다. 하나님의 말씀은 듣지 않고 자기 생각, 자기 말하기를 좋아하는

사람입니다.

On the contrary, there is a foolish one. He is unwilling to listen to the Word of God, but rather likes to express his own thoughts and his words alone.

남편의 말도, 아내의 말도 부모의 말도, 하나님의 말씀도 들리지 않습니다.

He or she is not listening to the words of husband, nor of wife, nor of the parents, much less the Word of God.

자기 말만 합니다. 교만입니다.

He or she simply speaks his or her own words. That’s pride.

“너는 하나님 앞에서 함부로 입을 열지 말며 급한 마음으로 말을 내지 말라.”

“Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God.”

논어에 보면 군자와 소인의 차이를 이렇게 얘기합니다.

In the Analects of Confucius, it teaches a difference between gentleman and common people.

군자는 귀로 들으면 그것이 곧 마음으로 전해지고 몸에 베어서 실천을 한다.

The gentleman listens through his ears, deposits what he has listened into his heart, and practices what he has learned in his body through disciplines.

그러나 소인은 귀로 들으면 곧 입밖으로 내뱉는다 들어도 마음이나 인격에는 전달이 되지 않는다. 어리석은 사람입니다.

However, common people will speak freely right after they hear. Though they may hear, whatever they hear will not reach their hearts or form their characters. They are considered as foolish.

그렇습니다. 하나님의 말씀을 아멘으로 잘 들어야 합니다.

That’s right! We have to listen to the Word of God with AMEN!

하나님의 말씀을 잘 들어야 무너지지 않는, 든든한 신앙의 소유자가 됩니다.

It is only when you pay close attention to the Word of God, then you will surely possess a solid and strong faith.
