이런 말이 있습니다. 꿩을 못 잡아도 매는 매입니다. 그러나 매는 꿩을 잡아야 매라고 할 수 있습니다.

There is a Korean saying, “Even if a hawk cannot hunt a pheasant, it is still a hawk.” However, a hawk must be able to hunt a pheasant.

예수 그리스도를 믿는 우리는 봄의 역사가 있어야 참 크리스천입니다. 변화가 있어야 합니다.

True Christians must experience God’s wondrous work of spring. Followers of Jesus must experience transformation.

달라져야 합니다. 종교 메너리즘에 빠진 형식적인 성도, 무능력한 교회가 되면 안 되는 것입니다. 고목이 되면 안 됩니다. 묵은 땅이 되면 안 되는 것입니다.

There must be a change in their life. We must not be an incompetent church. We must not be saints who have fallen into religious mannerism. We must not be like the dead trees or infertile soil.

그렇습니다. 우리는 봄의 역사가 일어나도록 교회 생활과 신앙생활을 새롭게 열심히 해야 합니다. 이 봄에 무엇이든지 열심히 해서 봄의 역사를 일으켜야 합니다.

That’s right. We must walk by faith and serve the church so that we may experience God’s transforming work this Spring. Let us be diligent so that we may experience this change this Spring.

씨앗을 심고 꽃을 피워야 합니다. 반드시 열매를 맺도록 해야 합니다. 그런가 하면 봄이기 때문에 세상의 유혹도 많습니다. 그러므로 세상의 유혹을 경계해야 합니다. 조심해야 합니다.

Let us sow seeds so that they may blossom and bear fruit. But many temptations will come this season.

자칫하면 유혹에 빠지고 시험에 들 수 있기 때문입니다. 그러나 우리는 봄의 역사를 일으키는 성령의 사람들입니다.

We must be wary of the temptations. We must be careful because it is easy to fall into the temptations. Nevertheless, we are men and women

예수 그리스도의 영으로 거듭난 사람들입니다. 예수 생명이 있는 자들입니다. 신앙의 양심이 있는 자들입니다.

of the Spirit. We have been regenerated by the Spirit of Jesus Christ. We have the life of Jesus. Faith has been given to us.

성별된 거룩한 자들입니다. 그러므로 유혹이 올 때에 죄악이 가까이 올 때에 물리쳐야 합니다, We are holy people who have been set apart. Thus, we must overcome the temptations as they come.

내 신앙이 내 양심에 울리는 경보를 듣고 시험에 빠지지 말아야 합니다. 말씀으로 쓴 뿌리를 뽑고 작은 여우를 잡아야 합니다.

We need to be attentive to the warnings from our conscience and flee from evil. We need to take out the root of bitterness and catch little foxes.

그것을 무시하면 우리는 죄를 짓게 되는 것입니다. 그래서 야고보 사도는 “너희 중에 고난 당하는 자가 있느냐 그는 기도할 것이요 즐거워하는 자가 있느냐 그는 찬송할지니라.”

Ignoring these things will result in sinning. The Apostle James said, “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.”

그렇습니다. 이 봄에 우리는 봄의 역사가 일어나야 합니다. 긴 잠에서 깨어나야 합니다.

That’s right. We must experience God’s transforming work this Spring. We need to wake up from our long sleep.

지난 일 년 Covid19 때문에 너무나 혼란스러웠습니다. 그러는 동안 내 신앙이 잠자고 있지는 않았습니까? 이제는 봄이 됐습니다.

This past year has been so chaotic due to the pandemic. Has your faith grown dull? Spring has come.

열심히 씨 뿌리고 꽃을 피우고 열매를 맺어야 합니다. 깨어 정신 차려 주님을 섬겨야 합니다. 주신 사명에 충성해야 합니다.

Let us diligently sow seeds so that they may blossom and bear fruit. Let us be sober-minded and serve the Lord. Let us be faithful to our calling.

더욱 열심히 신앙생활 해야 합니다. 부지런히 살아야 합니다. 때로는 힘들고 어려워도 믿음을 가지고 적극적인 자세로 현실을 극복해야 합니다.

Let us walk by faith with fervency. We need to be diligent. Although we face difficulties at times, we need to overcome the reality with faith.

하나님을 더욱 의지하고 믿음으로 봄의 역사를 일으켜야 합니다.

We must rely on the Lord more and experience His wondrous work this Spring.

세월이 너무 빠릅니다. 주어진 인생 최선을 다하여 봄의 역사를 일으켜야 합니다.

Time goes by fast. We need to do our best in this lifetime and experience change.
