현대인의 비극은 말씀도 듣지않고 자기 멋대로 살다가 무너지고 마는 것입니다.

The tragedy of modern society is that people neglect to hear the Word of God. They act upon their own volitions and end up breaking down.

선한 사마리아인의 비유에서 제사장이나 레위인은 강도 만난 사람을 돌아보지 않고 그냥 지나쳤습니다.

In the parable of the Good Samaritan, both the priest and the Levite passed by the beaten man who had fallen among robbers.

왜 그랬을까? 그들은 말씀을 듣기전에 고정관념으로 행동했기 때문에 인간의 생각으로 더 큰 문제를 야기시켰습니다.

Why did they pass by him? It was because they acted with their own interests instead of acting by the Word of God.

그러므로 행복한 사람은 하나님의 말씀을 기뻐하고 즐거워 해야 합니다. 말씀을 읽는 것, 듣는 것, 배우는 것, 묵상하는 것, 그 말씀 따라 행하는 것, 그것을 기뻐하고 즐거워 해야 합니다. 그렇게 하는 자가 행복하다고 했습니다.

Therefore, a happy person must delight in the Word of God. One must enjoy reading, hearing, learning, meditating, and practicing the Word of God. The Bible tells us that such a person is happy.

예수님께서 가버나움에 이르렀을 때에 백부장이 나아와 중풍병으로 누워있는 자신의 하인을 고쳐주세요. 예수님께서 그래 함께 가자 그때 백부장이 뭐라고 합니까?

When Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came up to him to ask if he could heal his servant who was lying paralyzed. Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” How did the centurion respond?

“아, 아닙니다. 다만 말씀으로만 하옵소서, 그런면 내 하인이 낫겠나이다” 그때 예수님께서 그 백부장의 믿음을 칭찬해 주었습니다.

He said, “No, Lord. Only say the word, and my servant will be healed.” Seeing this, Jesus praised the centurion for his faith.

그 믿음이 어떤 믿음입니까? 말씀대로 이루어진다는 것을 믿는 순종의 믿음입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 반드시 이루어진다.

What kind of faith did he have? He had the faith of obedience. He trusted that the Word of God will come to pass.

이런 순수한 순종의 믿음이 최고의 믿음입니다. 그렇습니다. 하나님의 말씀은 살았고 운동력이 있어 누구든지 성령충만 해서 그 말씀을 믿으면 치유와 표적과 이적이 일어나는 것입니다.

His faith was pure. This is the best kind of faith. That’s right. The Word of God is living and active. Anyone who believes in His Word will be filled with the Holy Spirit and experience healing and wonders.

하나님이 함께 하는 사람, 하나님의 말씀이 함께 하는 사람, 행복한 사람입니다.

A person who abides in God and in His Word is happy.

얼마나 잘 생겼는지 남자나 여자 모두가 그 여자를 예쁘다고 합니다. 아무리 인물을 볼 줄 모르는 사람도 예쁘게 본다는 것입니다.

most beautiful women. Both men and women acknowledged her beauty. Even people who had different preferences considered her to be pretty.

그 여자는 모든 것 갖추었습니다. 그런데 자살 했습니다. 그녀가 죽었을 때 과학자들, 의학자들, 심리학자들이 그녀가 왜 죽었을까 그 이유를 조사했습니다.

She seemed to have everything, and yet, she committed suicide. When she died, medical scientists and psychologists began to investigate the reason for her death.

개인적으로 대통령에게 특별한 사랑을 받았습니다. 인기도 있었고 돈도 많았고 명예도 가진 그녀가 왜 죽었을까 그 원인이 외로움 때문이었습니다.

The president even mentioned her. She had both fame and money. But why did she end up committing suicide? It was because of loneliness.

그렇습니다. 이 세상의 모든 것을 다 가지고 있다고 해도 만군의 여호와 하나님이 내 곁에 계시지 않으면 불행합니다.

That’s right. We may have the whole world, but if the Lord God Almighty is not with us, there can be no happiness.
