“저는 참고 참으며 주님을 기다렸습니다. 나를 돌아보시며 내 부르짖음을 들으셨습니다.” (시편 40:1)

[기도]

Lord of all time and space, I give to you this season of waiting. I ask that use this time for your purposes. Where I am tempted to be frustrated or angered, may you bestow peace.
모든 시간과 공간의 주님, 이 기다림의 시간을 주님께 드립니다. 저는 주님의 목적을 위해 이 시간을 사용하도록 부탁드립니다. 제가 좌절하거나 화를 내고 싶은 그런 유혹이 있는 곳에서 주의 평화를 주소서.

Where I am tempted to long for my own will, help me desire yours; where I am tempted to desire only my satisfactions, turn my attention to the presence of my Savior. Help me wait with you, in you, and for you.
제 뜻을 이루려는 욕망이 일어날 때, 주님의 뜻을 이루게 하는 갈망을 주옵소서. 저의 욕구 만족 바라는 유혹의 순간에 주의 임재를 느끼며 그 순간을 극복하게 하소서. 주님과 함께, 주님 안에서, 주님을 위해 기다릴 수 있도록 저를 도와주소서.

Dearest Jesus, I pray that this season of waiting be one where I grow in steadfast faith. Help me to hold onto your promises in joyous hope, and even if I don’t see your promise revealed in this moment, help me to trust in your goodness, your grace, and your love.
사랑하는 예수님, 이 기다림의 시간이 제가 확고한 믿음 안에서 성장하는 시간이 되기를 간구합니다. 주님의 약속을 기쁜 소망으로 붙들게 하시고, 이 순간에 주님의 약속이 드러나지 않더라도 주님의 선하심과 은혜와 사랑을 믿게 하옵소서.

In this time of waiting, I pray that you give me a deeper vision of your presence. Help me, O Lord, to recognize the movement of your hand and the gentle guiding of your Spirit. Equip me with the gifts I need to proclaim your word and show forth your goodness.
이 기다림의 시간에 주님의 임재에 대한 더 깊은 비전을 제게 허락하시길 기도드립니다. 오 주님, 주님 손의 움직임과 성령의 부드러운 인도를 인식할 수 있도록 도와주소서. 주님의 말씀을 선포하고 주님의 선하심을 드러내는데 필요한 은사를 저에게 내려 주옵소서.

May my testimony increase and my witness extend as a result of this time of waiting. But more than anything, may you be glorified above all things. This I pray in the name of the one in whom I wait. Amen.
이 기다림의 결과로 저의 간증 내용이 늘어나고 더욱 확장되길 소망합니다. 그러나 무엇보다도 주님께서 모든 것 위에 영광을 받으시기 바랍니다. 제가 인내하며 기다리는 주님의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
