In the past year, You have seen my challenges, been saddened by my weaknesses, and rejoiced in my successes.
주님, 주님께서는 지난해, 저의 도전을 지켜보셨고, 저의 약점에 아파하셨고, 저의 성공에 기뻐해 주셨습니다.
Lord, as this New Year commences, let me remember the past year.
주님, 새해가 밝아오는 이때, 지난해의 삶을 돌이켜 보게 하소서.
In so doing, I truly repent of all that has hindered me from abiding in You.
주님 안에 거하지 못하게 했던 모든 죄악들을 진심으로 회개합니다.
Forgive me, for the promises and resolutions I made and never fulfilled.
주님, 주님께 약속했던 것들을 온전히 성취되지 못함을 용서하여 주옵소서.
Forgive me, for the times I neglected prayer and Your word as my focus.
주님, 기도 생활에 소홀함과, 주님의 말씀에 집중하지 못했음을 용서하옵소서.
Let me recall the things that hindered me from getting closer to You and keeping Your word.
주님, 주님과 가까이 하고, 주님의 말씀을 지키는데 방해 되었던 모든 것을 기억하게 하소서.
May I come to realize my mistakes and shortcomings and make amends.
오 주님, 저의 실수와 저의 부족을 깨닫게 하시고, 고쳐 주시옵소서.
Help me Lord, to be willing to forgive myself and to forgive others.
오 주님, 연약한 저 자신과 이웃의 잘못을 기꺼이 용서할 수 있도록 도와주옵소서.
Lord, remind me of my truest values and deepest desires.
주님, 가장 진정한 가치와 가장 마음 깊숙이 열망하는 것들을 깨우쳐 주옵소서.
Help me to live in the goodness that comes from doing what You want me to do.
주님이 원하는 선량한 것을 실천하며 살도록 도와주옵소서.
Help me to put aside anxiety about the future and regret of the past, so that I might live in peace with You now, one day at a time. Amen
주님, 주님과 함께 날마다 평화롭게 동행할 수 있도록, 지난날에 대한 후회와 미래의 걱정을 떨칠 수 있도록 저를 도와주옵소서. 아멘.
