- 배우고 확신한 일에 거하라 Be steadfast in your learned conviction 딤후 2Tim.3:13-17
악한 사람들과 속이는 자들은 더욱 악하여져서 속이기도 하고 속기도 하나니 그러나 너는 배우고 확신한 일에 거하라 너는 네가 누구에게서 배운 것을 알며 또 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라 모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전하게 하며 모든 선한 일을 행할 능력을 갖추게 하려 함이라(딤후 3:13-17).
while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
현대를 가리켜서 ‘지식 공해의 시대’라고 합니다. 인터넷을 통하여 수많은 정보들이 쏟아져 나옵니다.
This generation is called ‘the generation of polluted knowledge.’ There is a lot of information on the Internet.
가만히 있어도 많은 것을 저절로 알게 됩니다. 그런데 너무 많이 아니까 세상일 때문에 여러가지 걱정을 많이 합니다.
Even if we stay still, we learn many things automatically. But since we know a lot, we become anxious about many worldly things.
그래서 어떤 신학자가 이야기한대로 Shaking foundation/ 기초가 흔들리고 아예 삶의 터전; 중심이 흔들리고 있습니다.
So as a theologican said, shaking foundation; the foundation is shaking. Furthermore, the base of our life, the center of our life is shaking.
많이 아는 것 같은데 뭐가 뭔지 잘 모릅니다. 갈등을 느끼고 회의를 느낄 때가 많이 있습니다.
It seems like we know a lot, but not really. Often times, we are doubtful and feel conflicted.
왜 그렇습니까? 내가 바로 배우지 못했기 때문입니다. 알아야 할 것을 제대로 알지 못해서 그렇습니다.
Why is that? It is because we have not learned properly. It is because we do not know well what we ought to know.
이것이 옳으냐 저것이 옳으냐? 이 생각 저 생각하지 말고 한가지 일이라도 제대로 바로 알아야 합니다.
Is this right or is that right? Rather than simply thinking about this and that, we need to know at least one thing right.
바로 배워야 됩니다. 그리고 흔들리지 말아야 합니다. 분명한 확신가지고 살아야 합니다.
We need to learn properly. And we must not be shaken. We must live with clear convictions.
한 걸음 더 나아가서 그것을 다른 사람에게 가르쳐야 됩니다. 인간은 배우고 가르치기에 인간인 것입니다.
To go a step further, we need to teach that to others. Teaching and learning are part of human nature.
