내 심장이 폭발할 것처럼 희열과 감격으로 다이나믹하게 살아갈 수 있습니다. 어떤 대학생이 몸무게가 250파운드였는데 몇 달 새 80파운드를 뺐다고 합니다.

As if our hearts explode, we can live dynamically with joy and excitement. A college student was weighing 250 pounds and lost 80 pounds in a few months.

이유인즉, 어떤 여학생을 사랑했는데 가까이 가지 못하고 그저 속으로만 사모했습니다.

He had a crush on a female student but could not approach her.

그런데 어느 날 캠퍼스에서 그 여학생이 날씬한 남자와 함께 가는 것을 보고 충격을 받았습니다. ‘내 몸무게 때문에 내 신세 망쳤구나’

But one day on campus, he was shocked to see the girl go with a slim man. From that moment on, he thought his obesity doomed his life.

그때부터 그 여학생 생각하면서 밥도 덜 먹고 다리에는 모래주머니를 해 차고, 열심히 운동했더니 살이 쭉쭉 빠졌습니다.

So, when he thought about the girl he ate less, put sandbags on his legs, working out hard, was losing weight.

이제는 염려가 없어졌습니다. 이제는 그 여학생만이 아니라 모든 여학생이 내 눈 아래 들어옵니다. 이게 사랑의 힘입니다.

No more worries from then on. He overcame his insecurity. This is power of love.

교회에 왜 나오십니까? 하나님의 사랑을 깨닫고 일어나려고, 하나님의 축복의 말씀을 듣고 힘을 얻으려고 나오는 것입니다.

Why do you come to church? To realize God's love and listen to God's blessings and gain strength.

그렇습니다. 축복의 하나님이 나와 함께 하신다면 오늘 우리는 마땅히 생동적이고 다이나믹해야 하는 것입니다.

Yes. If the God of blessing is with us, today we deserve to be dynamic and energetic.

앞으로 하나님이 우리를 축복해 주실 터이니 가슴 설레임으로 우리는 힘을 내야 합니다.

God will bless us in the future so with flutter of hearts we must strengthen ourselves.

“내가 그때에 너희를 이끌고 그때에 너희를 모을지라 내가 너희 목전에서 너희의 사로잡힘을 돌이킬 때에 너희에게 천하 만민 가운데서 명성과 칭찬을 얻게 하리라.”

“At that time, I will gather you at that time I will bring you home. I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes.”

그렇습니다. 우리 모두는 하나님 앞에서 축복의 대상이요 이 세상의 명성과 칭찬의 대상입니다.

Yes. All of us are to receive blessing and praises before God.

어떻게 생각하면 축복을 위해서 믿는다는 것은 합당하지 않을지 모르지만 믿는 자들에게는 축복이 따르는 것도 사실입니다.

In some ways, it may not be appropriate to believe for blessings, but it is also true for those who believe.

자녀를 축복하고 싶지 않은 부모가 어디에 있겠습니까?

What kind of parents do not want to bless their children?

그렇습니다. 이스라엘 백성들은 이 축복의 말씀을 듣고 믿고 기운이 생겼습니다. 힘이 생겼습니다.

Yes. When the Israelites heard this blessing, they believed and were renewed. They gain strength.

도끼를 들고 우상의 신당들을 부수고 성경을 읽고 기도하고 찬송하기 시작했습니다. 그들 가운데는 위대한 개혁이 일어나기 시작했습니다.

They picked up an ax, crushed the idols, started reading the Bible, praying, and singing hymns. Among them, great reforms began to take place.

그리고 놀라운 축복을 받았습니다. 그들로 하여금 세계 속에 명성과 칭찬을 받게 했습니다.

And it was a wonderful blessing. It made them famous and got praised in the world.

사랑하는 성도 여러분! 이 영광의 말씀을 믿고 세상에 기죽지 말고 힘을 내고 승리하시기를 주님의 이름으로 축원합니다.

Dear saints! I pray in the name of the Lord that you will believe in this Word of glory, be strong and victorious in the world.
