그렇습니다. 우리는 돌이켜 보면 죄스럽고 부끄러운 일들이 많습니다. 교회 안에서도 조금만 내 생각과 달라도 정죄 했습니다. 비판 했습니다.
That’s right. When we look back on our lives, we might be ashamed of many things. For example, we may have been quick to judge and criticize others in the church.
때로는 그럴 수 있느냐고 섭섭하다고 아우성 쳤습니다. 하나님의 영광과 교회를 위해서 일 한다고 하면서도 조금만 언짢은 일이 생기면 견딜 수가 없었습니다.
We have let our frustrations overtake us. Claiming to serve the church for the glory of God, we have let small issues cause our hearts to be troubled.
조금만 기분이 나빠도 받아들이지를 못하고 속상해 했습니다. 세상을 얼마나 딱딱거리며 사는지 모릅니다.
Rather than being patient, we have let trivial matters upset us. We nitpick and criticize little things.
어떤 교회에서 예배를 마치고 나가는데 사람들이 많으니까, 옆 사람 발을 밟았습니다. 그랬더니 쳐다보면서 “눈깔이 없어” 소리를 지르더랍니다. 예배 잘 드리고 뭐하는 짓입니까?
When a church service ended, a man accidentally stepped on another person’s foot. That person stared at him and screamed, “Do you have eyes?” Why react in such a way after worship?
그러므로 우리는 더 좋은 교회 일꾼이 되기 위해서는 순간순간 열려진 사람으로 “하나님, 회개합니다. 정말 회개합니다.” “불쌍히 여겨 주옵소서” 하면서 살아야 합니다.
We need to have open hearts in order to better serve the church. We constantly need to confess to God, “Please forgive I repent of my sins. Please have mercy on me.”
교회를 섬길 때도 어지간하면 그러려니 해야 합니다. 성도를 섬길 때도 무조건 이해하고 또 이해하면서 열려진 사람으로 섬겨야 합니다. 그런 사람이 건강하고 은혜로운 사람입니다.
We need to learn to understand others when we serve the church. We need to be patient and show kindness to others. Such people are gracious people who have open hearts and are spiritually healthy.
어떤 집사님이 중병에 걸렸습니다. 좋은 약 다 써보았지만 효과가 없었습니다. 안수기도를 받아도 치료가 되지 않습니다.
A deacon once became severely ill. He tried taking all sorts of medication, but it did not help. Others tried to pray for him, but it was not getting better.
그러던 어느 날 목사님이 이렇게 물었습니다. “집사님, 혹시 미워하는 사람 없습니까? 미워하는 사람 있으면 용서하고 사랑하시기 바랍니다. 그래야 하나님이 긍휼히 여기시고 병을 고쳐 주십니다.”
One day, his pastor asked him, “Are you bitter against anyone at this time? If there is hatred in your heart, please forgive and love that person. Then, God will show mercy and heal your sickness.”
그 말을 듣고 이 집사님이 하나님께 기도 했더니 용서해야 될 사람이 500명이 되더랍니다.
Upon hearing these words, he prayed to the Lord and made a list of people who came to his mind. There were about 500 people on that list.
그 모든 사람들에 대해서 미움의 마음을 하나하나 지워버리고 용서하고 사랑할 때 놀라운 성령의 역사하심으로 깨끗이 치료 됐다는 것입니다.
When he forgave each and every one of them, he experienced the wonderful work of the Holy Spirit and was healed of his sickness.
열려진 마음에 건강이 있습니다. 평안이 있습니다. 행복이 있습니다. 기쁨이 있습니다. 소망이 있습니다. 문제 해결이 있습니다. 승리가 있습니다.
Those who have open hearts will enjoy good health, peace, happiness, joy, and hope. Their prayers will be answered, and they will enjoy victory.
