내 생각으로 아무리 안 된다고 해도 하나님이 하시면 하는 것입니다.
We might not be able to do it on our own, but God certainly can.

반대로 내 생각으로 아무리 된다고 해도 하나님이 도와주시지 않으면 안 되는 것입니다. 모든 일이 하나님이 도와 주셔야 되는데 그게 영적인 복입니다.
On the contrary, we will not be able to do anything unless God helps us. God needs to help us in all things. This is what spiritual blessing consists of.

그러므로 새해에는 우리 모두 영적인 복을 먼저 받아야 합니다.
Therefore, we must all receive this spiritual blessing this New Year.

“그런즉 너희가 어떻게 행할지를 자세히 주의하여 지혜 없는 자같이 하지 말고, 오직 지혜 있는 자같이 하여 세월을 아끼라. 때가 악하니라 그러므로 어리석은 자가 되지 말고 오직 주의 뜻이 무엇인가 이해하라. 술 취하지 말라. 이는 방탕한 것이니 오직 성령으로 충만함을 받으라.”
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit.”

그렇습니다. 새해에는 여러분의 생각과 삶의 자세를 한번 새롭게 결단해 보시기를 바랍니다.
That’s right. Let us examine our lives and make new resolutions this New Year.

우리 인간이 가지고 있는 가장 위대한 능력 중에 하나가 결단력입니다. 인간은 선택하고 결단하는 존재입니다.
One of the greatest abilities we have is willpower. Human beings can make decisions and be determined to do anything.

‘나는 성령 충만할 수 있다, 나는 변화될 수 있다, 나는 성공할 수 있다’라고 결단해야 하나님이 도와주십니다.
God helps those who are determined. “I can be filled with the Holy Spirit. I can change. I can overcome.”

사람이 구원받는 것도 하나님의 은혜를 믿고 내가 결단을 내려서 예수님을 나의 구주로 영접할 때 이루어지는 것입니다.
A person is saved by grace through faith. One must choose to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

그런데 오늘날 많은 사람들이 새해에 내가 어떻게 되었으면 좋겠는데, 돈 좀 벌었으면 좋겠는데 막연히 바랍니다. 적당히 그래서는 안 됩니다. 우리가 분명하게 결단 안하면 무엇이든지 어렵습니다.
But many people have wishful thinking. They wish to become wealthy with the start of a New Year. Wishful thinking is not enough. We must be determined. We must resolve to do something.

우리는 하나님 믿는 사람입니다. 믿음으로 결단해야 합니다. 하나님은 믿음으로 결단하는 사람에게 은혜와 복을 베풀어 주시는 것입니다.
We are people who believe in God. We must resolve with faith. God blesses those who resolve to act by faith.

그래서 우리는 먼저 영적인 사람이 돼야 합니다. 오직 성령으로 충만해야 합니다.
For this reason, we must first become spiritual people. We must be filled with the Holy Spirit.
