6/ 새 술은 새 부대에
New Wine into New Wineskins

마가복음 2장 18~22절

“요한의 제자들과 바리새인들이 금식하고 있는지라 사람들이 예수께 와서 말하되 요한의 제자들과 바리새인들의 제자들은 금식하는데 어찌하여 당신의 제자들은 금식하지 아니하나이까 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 혼인 집 손님들이 신랑과 함께 있을 때에 금식할 수 있느냐 신랑과 함께 있을 동안에는 금식할 수 없느니라 그러나 신랑을 빼앗길 날이 이르리니 그 날에는 금식할 것이니라 생베 조각을 낡은 옷에 붙이는 자가 없나니 만일 그렇게 하면 기운 새 것이 낡은 그것을 당기어 헤어짐이 더하게 되느니라 새 포도주를 낡은 가죽 부대에 넣는 자가 없나니 만일 그렇게 하면 새 포도주가 부대를 터뜨려 포도주와 부대를 버리게 되리라 오직 새 포도주는 새 부대에 넣느니라 하시니라.”

Mark 2:18-22

Now John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. Some people came and asked Jesus, “How is it that John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees are fasting, but yours are not?” Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom fast while he is with them? They cannot, so long as they have him with them.But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and on that day they will fast.”No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the new piece will pull away from the old, making the tear worse. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, he pours new wine into new wineskins.”

사람이 세상을 살아가는 데는 몇 가지 유형이 있습니다. 첫째는 주어진 환경에 따라서 사는 사람이 있습니다. 남자로 태어났으니 남자로 사는 것입니다.
There are several types of people in this world. First, there are people who are compliant. They live as men because they were born as men.

여자로 태어났으니 여자의 옷을 입고 여자로 살아갑니다. 남자니까 장가가고 여자니까 시집을 갑니다.
They dress up like women because they were born as women. Men become husbands and women become wives.

그리고 여자들은 아이를 낳고 엄마가 되는 것입니다. 그들은 집이 필요해서 집을 사서 삽니다.
Women give birth to their children and become moms. They buy a house because they need a house.

이런 사람들에게 왜 살아야 하느냐 물어볼 필요가 없습니다. 주어진 환경에 따라 살아갈 뿐입니다. 두 번째는 목적을 가지고 살아가는 유형입니다.
This type of person simply accepts a situation, rather than trying to alter it. Secondly, there are people who live with a purpose.

그들은 어떤 사람이 되고자 하는 목적을 압니다. 그것을 이루기 위하여 열심히 공부하고 일합니다. 그들은 자신의 모든 은사를 동원해서
They know exactly what they want to accomplish. They study and work hard to achieve their goals. They do everything

목표를 향해 최선을 다합니다. 때로는 그 목표 때문에 자신이 고통을 당하기도 합니다. 때로는 그들의 가족이 희생을 당합니다.
they can to reach their goals. Sometimes, they get hurt trying to reach their goals. Sometimes, they even sacrifice their families.

하지만 목적이 이루어졌을 때 성취감을 느낍니다. 그들은 기쁨을 느끼지만, 한편으로는 공허하기도 합니다. 그들이 실패를 했을 때에는
At last, they feel accomplished when they reach their goals. They feel joy, but also emptiness. They get disappointed

고통과 아픔도 있습니다. 세 번째는 자기 존재의 의미를 깨달으며 타인을 위해 살아가는 유형입니다.
when they fail to reach their goals. Thirdly, there are people who choose to live for others because they understand the meaning of life.

그들은 그들의 사명과 보람을 잘 압니다. 그리고 그들은 언제나 만족하며 행복합니다.
They know their mission and calling. Meanwhile, they themselves are always satisfied and happy.

그들을 만나는 사람들은 그들이 얼마나 복되고 행복한지 알 수 있습니다. 그들이 얼마나 보람되고 가치 있는 삶을 사는지 느낄 수 있습니다.
People who meet this type of person can see how happy and blessed he or she is. They can feel that this person is living a meaningful life.
