- 좋은 길을 선택하라 Choose the good way 고전 1Cor.12:25-31
“몸 가운데서 분쟁이 없고 오직 여러 지체가 서로 같이 돌보게 하셨느니라 만일 한 지체가 고통을 받으면 모든 지체가 함께 고통을 받고 한 지체가 영광을 얻으면 모든 지체가 함께 즐거워하느니라 너희는 그리스도의 몸이요 지체의 각 부분이라 하나님이 교회 중에 몇을 세우셨으니 첫째는 사도요 둘째는 선지자요 셋째는 교사요 그 다음은 능력을 행하는 자요 그 다음은 병 고치는 은사와 서로 돕는 것과 다스리는 것과 각종 방언을 말하는 것이라 다 사도이겠느냐 다 선지자이겠느냐 다 교사이겠느냐 다 능력을 행하는 자이겠느냐 다 병 고치는 은사를 가진 자이겠느냐 다 방언을 말하는 자이겠느냐 다 통역하는 자이겠느냐 너희는 더욱 큰 은사를 사모하라 내가 또한 가장 좋은 길을 너희에게 보이리라”(고전 12:25-31)
“so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? But eagerly desire the greater gifts. And now I will show you the most excellent way.”(1Cor. 12:25-31)
“우리 인간에게 자유의지는 있는가”라는 문제는 신학과 철학에서 오랫동안 논란이 된 어려운 문제입니다.
“Does man have free will?”This has been a controversial topic in theology and philosophy for a long period of time.
유명한 철학자 임마누엘 칸트는 그가 쓴 책 [순수이성비판] 에서 가장 중요하게 다루는 것이 “인간에게 자유의지가 있는가” 하는 것입니다.
In his book, Critique of Pure Reason, Immanuel Kant mainly focuses on this issue of “whether human beings have free will or not.
그렇다면 성경은 무엇이라고 말씀하고 있습니까? ”What does the Bible say about this issue?
결론적으로 성경은 ‘인간에게 자유의지가 있다’고 말씀하고 있습니다.
In conclusion, the Bible says that ‘human beings have free will.’
그렇습니다. 성경은 항상 인간을 하나님과의 관계에서 보는데 그 관계는 항상 인격적 관계로 보고 있습니다.
That’s right. The Bible views human beings in relation to God. And this relationship is always personal.
다시 말해서 인간은 누구나 하나님 앞에서 책임 있는 존재로, 의무를 가진 존재로, 하나님을 향해서 인간을 선택의 자유가 주어진 존재로 말씀하고 있습니다.
In other words, the Bible describes mankind as beings who have responsibility, duty, and free will before God.
그래서 사람은 누구나 일생 동안 선택하며 살아갑니다.
This is the reason everybody lives by making decisions all their life.
“이렇게 할까, 저렇게 할까?” 선택의 자유는 인간에게 대단히 중요합니다.
“Should I do this or that?” Freedom of choice is extremely important to human beings.
그 선택에 따라서 성공과 실패, 행복과 불행으로 갈라지는 것입니다.
Depending on the choice one makes, it leads that person to success or failure, to happiness or misery.
