Anyways, 우리는 하나님의 자녀답게 자존심을 지키며 살아야 합니다. 크리스천답게 하나님이 주신 거룩한 사명을 붙잡고 전심전력하면서 충성해야 합니다.
Anyways, we must keep the Christian dignity and live as the children of God. We must remember our holy calling and be faithful unto death.
그래야 우리 인생이 달라지고 복된 인생이 되는 것입니다. 세상에 살다보면 마라의 쓴물은 이스라엘 백성들에게만 있었던 것이 아니라 현대인, 우리의 인생 순례길 가운데도 얼마든지 있는 것입니다.
Then, we will be able to live a blessed life. The bitter waters of Marah can also apply to us. We live as pilgrims in this world and we certainly face adversity.
그런데 중요한 것은 마라의 쓴물을 만날 때에 하나님의 자녀답게 자존심을 지키고 이 쓴물이 단물로 변화될 수 있다는 믿음과 소망을 가져야 하는 것입니다.
But we must keep the Christian dignity when the bitter waters of Marah are given to us. We must have faith that God can make the bitter water sweet.
그렇습니다. 우리는 하나님의 자녀답게 크리스천의 자존심을 지키며 사는 것이 중요합니다.
That’s right. It is important for us to keep the Christian dignity and live as the children of God.
구원 받은 하나님의 자녀로서 하나님 바라보며 하나님을 믿는 믿음으로 자존심을 지키고 바로 살아가자는 것입니다. 성도의 자존심은 하나님의 자존심이기 때문입니다.
As the children of God who have been saved, we are to keep the Christian dignity and live a righteous life. Christian dignity matters because it matters to God.
몽골 사람들은 평균 시력이 2.9라고 합니다. 몽골 사람들의 아주 좋은 눈은 7.0까지 나온다고 합니다. 왜 그럴까요?
It is said that the average vision for Mongolians is 2.9. The best eyesight among them is 7.0.
그 이유는, 몽골은 어디를 가나 평원지역이라고 합니다. 고개만 돌리면 언제나 지평선을 바라본다는 것입니다. 늘 지평선을 바라보면서 시력 강화 운동을 하니까 눈이 그렇게 좋아질 수 밖에 없다는 것입니다.
The reason they have a good vision is that Mongolia is filled with plains – areas of flat land Wherever you turn, you are always looking at the horizon. Looking at the horizon naturally improves one’s distance vision.
그렇습니다. 우리도 크리스천답게 자존심을 지키며 주님 바라보며 경건하고 의롭게 살아야 합니다. 그래야 우리도 영적 눈이 밝아집니다. 우리에게 필요한 힘과 능력과 권세가 주어지는 것입니다.
That’s right. Let us look to God and keep the Christian dignity. Let us live a righteous life. This will open our spiritual eyes. Then, God will give us the strength that we need.
“내가 산을 향하여 눈을 들리라. 나의 도움이 어디서 올까, 나의 도움은 천지를 지으신 여호와에게서로다.”
“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”
