영혼이 병들어서 그렇습니다. 우리의 영혼이 건강하지 않으면 교회에 앉아 있어도 기쁨이 없습니다. 평안도 없습니다.
Sometimes, it is because their souls are diseased. Coming to church is not joyful when our souls are diseased. There is no peace.

죄에 대한 슬픔도 없습니다. 그런 교회는 병들어 죽어있는 교회입니다. 그렇습니다. 성도들의 영혼이 깨어있어야
There is no grieving over sins. Such a church is diseased and dead. That’s right. A church is healthy when the souls of its members

건강한 교회입니다. 하나님의 말씀을 들을 때 반응할 수 있어야 합니다. 하나님을 향한, 다른 성도를 향한 감각이 죽어버리면
are awake. We need to be able to respond when we hear the Word of God. If we are insensitive towards God or others in the church,

살았다고는 하지만, 사실은 죽은 사람과 마찬가지입니다. 그러므로 우리는 항상 깨어있어야 하고 정신 차려야 합니다.
we are basically dead. Therefore, we must stay alert and sober-minded.

우리가 믿는 기독교에는 3가지 중요한 교리가 있습니다. 첫째는 창조론입니다. “태초에 하나님이 천지를 창조하시니라.”
Christianity teaches three important doctrines. The first is the doctrine of Creation. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

태초에 하나님께서 우주 만물을 창조하시고 하나님의 형상대로 우리 인간을 만드셨습니다. 이 세상의 우주 만물을
In the beginning, God created the universe. God created human beings in His own image. God created the heavens

하나님께서 만드셨습니다. 이 교리는 불교에는 없습니다. 불교에는 창조론이나 종말론이 없습니다.
and the earth. This doctrine cannot be found in Buddhism. The doctrine of Creation or the doctrine of end times cannot be found in Buddhism.

시작도 없고 끝도 없이 돌고 도는 것이 불교의 역사관입니다. 불신자들은 장례식을 할 때 상여 앞에서 선창을 하는데
According to Buddhism, there is no beginning or end to history. In Buddhist funeral, people sing a song that goes like this:

“이제 가면 언제 오나?”“이제 가면 언제 오나?” 그럽니다. 오긴 왜 옵니까? 오면 되겠습니까?
“Now that you are gone, when will you come back? When will you come back?” Why would anyone come back?

이것은 소위 윤회설, 곡선 세계를 보여줍니다. 돌고 돌아서 끝이 없는 것입니다. 그러나 우리가 믿는 기독교에는 시작이 있으므로
This shows their belief in the doctrine of reincarnation. Their concept of time is cyclical. However, Christianity teaches that there is a beginning

끝도 있다는 것을 가르칩니다. 직선 세계입니다. 알파와 오메가요, 처음과 나중을 이야기합니다. 둘째는 구원론입니다.
and an end to history. Our concept of time is linear. The Bible talks about the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end. The second doctrine is of Salvation.

“하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 저를 믿는 자마다 멸망치 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라.”
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

인간이 유혹을 받아 죄를 짓고 타락함으로 죄 아래서 질병을 가지고 고통 가운데 살게 됐습니다.
When mankind was tempted, they sinned and consequently fell. As a result, all mankind is under sin. People have been toiling together ever since the fall.

그런 불쌍한 인간을 구원하시기 위하여 하나님께서는 율법을 제정하시고 선지자들을 보내셨습니다.
But God had compassion on mankind and sought to save them by sending them prophets and establishing the law.

그런데 인간들이 그들의 말을 듣지 않았습니다. 그래서 예수님께서 친히 육신의 몸으로 이 땅에 오셨습니다.
Nonetheless, people did not listen to the prophets. Thus, Jesus took the form of man and descended to this earth.
